The fees added to the Simon gift card are not as bad as you see with many of the prepaid cards on the market but the buyer and cardholder should be aware. The purchaser has to pay a $5.95 handling fee to obtain the card. There is a monthly administration fee after the first 12 calendar months following the issue date of the card. This $2.50 administration fee will be applied to the card monthly until the card expires or until the balance reaches $0. If the Simon gift card does expire there is a $15 charge to replace it.
There are different terms for the different brands of cards that Simon produces: Kravco Simon, Chelsea, Forum Shops, Mall of America Gift Cards, Stanford Shopping Center, or King of Prussia Gift Cards. They also have the Longhorn Giftcards, Indiana University Giftcards and Purdue Giftcard brands.
