The Citi Executive World Elite Mastercard is designed for wealthy Americans that tend to spend more on their cards than the average American and may soon become the fastest route to Million Miler status. Annually, consumers will pay $450 to receive perks such as priority check-in, screening and boarding, concierge service, baggage charge waiver for the first checked bag and American Airlines’ Admiral Club access.

Citi Executive AAdvantage card holders earn two miles for every $1 on American Airlines flight purchases. When the card holder makes other purchases, they earn one mile per $1 on all other purchases. Card holders that spend $1,000 in the four months will get an additional 25,000 bonus miles.

The card member will also receive an additional 10,000 AAdvantage Elite Qualifying Miles when $40,000 is spent on the card per calendar year. Card members can receive complimentary upgrades, reservation assistance, mileage bonuses and airport and travel benefits.

In addition, the Mileage Plus program allows clients to pay an additional $35 to earn mileage points faster. The program will still provide complimentary lounge passes and airport perks. These offers are great for frequent travelers or someone that desires to travel frequently. There are no mileage caps with this particular card.

Million Miler Program
If you desire to become an AAdvantage Million Miler, you can earn miles by flying on American Airlines, American Eagle or AmericanConnection. Additionally, you will earn miles for every dollar spent on the card. The more purchases you make, the more you will earn. Depending upon how much you fly and how much you spend, you can reach the Million Mile mark within several years. If you fly frequently and spend $40,000 or more on your card annually, you may reach the Million Mile mark in 10 years or less.

To qualify for the AAdvantage Million Miler Program, the customer should have an active account open by December 1, 2011. Once the member reaches the one Million Miler mark, they will be rewarded with lifetime AAdvantage Gold Status, and they will receive 35,000 AAdvantage bonus miles. At the two Million Miler status, the member will receive lifetime AAdvantage Platinum status. This membership comes with four additional one-way system-wide upgrades.

Keep in mind that your beginning Million Miler balance will include every AAdvantage mile that you have ever earned in the program. These points will be tallied and added to your balance on December 1, 2011. The Million Miler points will be separated from any award miles that you have earned to help you track your progress toward earning the Million Miler designation.

The Million Miler program awards their customers with these perks to build brand loyalty. Since American Airlines serves 50 countries and 250 different cities, members of the Citi Executive AAdvantage club will have ample opportunity to take advantage of this deal. The airline, with its affiliates, supports 9000 flights daily.

What Are Some of the Other Perks of Citi Executive AAdvantage World Elite Mastercard?
The AAdvantage Card also features an EMV Chip card functionality to enable purchases at merchants that support EMV. This is a more secure form of payment than swiping the card. Many merchants are using this method of payment abroad to avoid fraudulent purchases.

The card member offers VIP service and access to presale events. Card holders will also be granted extended warranty on all purchases. The expert concierge service will help with travel arrangements, gift purchases and assist with dinner reservations 24 hours per day.

Complimentary travel services include automatic travel accident insurance, auto rental insurance, trip cancellation or trip interruption coverage and travel and emergency assistance services. This card also protects against fraud and theft. One of the most important additions is the card’s waiver of foreign transaction fees on purchases made abroad.

Citi is able to waive foreign fees, because they are located in more than 160 countries worldwide. Nearly 200 million customers are conducting business with Citi because of their extensive network. This is a relief to travelers that travel abroad frequently.

With the introduction of bonus points, miles earned on purchases and double miles on American Airline purchases, members will be able to reach the million dollar mark faster than ever. Clear and detailed reports will help you track your progress. This new Citi Executive AAdvantage World Elite MasterCard may be worth the annual investment of $450 per year if you spend $40,000 or more on your credit card.
