Someone sent us a question on Twitter not long ago regarding AirBnb and we were not sure the response immediately so we did some research. Now we are more excited to use AirBnb knowing that we can use miles or points to book a stay for Free. The question was whether you “could redeem miles or points for Airbnb Stays?”
To use points for an Airbnb stay you first need a credit card that allows for statement credits on purchases or one specifically for travel purchases. The first one that comes to mind is the Citi Premier Card because it reimburses you for travel purchases on a 1:1 basis and gives you 3x earnings power on all travel.
There are also other cards such as the Barclaycard Arrival Plus. You could use Arrival miles to cover the entire AirBnB purchase, or just a portion if you did not have enough to cover the entire stay.
