Starwood hotels aka SPG is offering a Spice It Up promotion to members to get double Starpoints on dining when you spend $10 or more at participating restaurants from May 1st to July 31, 2015. Plus, you’ll earn an extra 250 Starpoints in addition to the double Starpoints offer for each time that you spend $200 or more.
You just need to Register by July 15, 2015 and dine at a restaurant inside a Starwood hotel that you are not staying at while dining. This is an odd promotion because you could be staying at a hotel close to the Sheraton in Seattle then head over to the
Fountain Wine Bar and Lounge and get double points. The hotel could be a competitor hotel such as The Roosevelt Hotel.
Starwood may need to focus on bringing more hungry tummies into their restaurants instead of tired bodies to their beds in this promotion. It’s only valid for Starwood Preferred Guest Members making eligible food and beverage purchases at participating restaurants when the member has not booked to stay at the Starwood Hotel or Resort where the restaurant resides during the same date, so this offer is applicable for non-stay related food and beverage transactions only.
Make sure that you present your SPG card or supply your SPG membership number to the server upon arrival in order to receive the benefits of this offer. This offer is only available at participating restaurants, which you can view on the registration page at SPG.com. Double Starpoints will post to your account within 2 to 4 weeks after the qualifying non-stay dining transaction posts.

Magnises CEO Billy McFarland sat down with Fox Business along with Ja Rule to promote the black card for millennials. Ja Rule may have sold over 30 Million albums worldwide but we are not so sure their credit card has the possibility of that many members especially considering they only have over 1k twitter followers. In the interview on Fox with Melissa Francis who got her business fame from CNBC they referred to it as a “credit card”. We will tell you why we think it is more an “experience card” than a credit card or rewards card.
They claim they are not trying to be American Express or replace them and not compete with their flights and hotel perks but they are more about the community aspect and trying to impact members’ lives in the city where they live. It’s actually not a credit card but a payment tool such as Apple Pay. It works by taking your current credit or debit card and activating it to the heavy metal Magnises card through the data on the magnetic strip.
The card is only available for New Yorker’s but they have plans to expand to D.C. starting this month. Ja Rule will be one of our performers at the DC launch party on May 14 and I am sure you will get something VIP for being a cardmember. But it sounds more like a mega-fan club to me.
85% cardholders are between 21 and 29 years old making it a card for millennials. They claim that age does not guide them in the decision process for approval nor does income or occupation. They are more concerned about how people are going to use the perks, what they’re going to add to the community and what value they’re going to bring to the other members. They aim for a variety of industries who are doing all different kinds of stuff to get the diverse vibe from all kinds of people in the same room.

It also asks what you can earn miles on from purchases on their AAdvantage credit cards and that would be all of the above because you get at least 1x on everything.
You save how much off your in-flight purchases when you use your card on American Airlines and US Airways operated flights? 5% off, 10% off, or25% off? Answer would be 25% off!
One of the questions asked how many daily flights that AA takes: American Airlines offers nearly 6,700 daily flights to more than 330 destinations.
How can you earn miles with the AAdvantage Dining program? By Dining out, Doing dishes, or Submitting recipes. Had to laugh at this one you should know you will not get points for submitting recipes or doing dishes but for dining out at select restaurants points and bonuses can add up.
A few of the answers are all of the above and this is one of them. When it asks what you can save in your AAdvantage account. You can save your preferred credit card, seat preference and companion contact info in your AAdvantage account.
After I completed all the questions it told me “Thanks for entering for your chance to win two First Class round-trip tickets” and “You earned 1,000 AAdvantage bonus miles toward your trip to London by watching the videos. The maximum number of bonus miles you can earn with this promotion is 1,000.” You can put any city you wish in the contest box but I selected London because it was on my mind at the time.
