Dillard’s Credit Cards may have a new look soon

Dillard’s, the nation’s largest fashion apparel and home furnishings retailer, could soon be hopping on the bandwagon of the new card Trend.  With 330 stores in 29 states, many will see a great value in being able to use one card when they shop at this department store. In addition to receiving more value and rewards when shopping at Dillard’s, cardholders will be able to use their Dillard’s cards at the millions of American Express merchants around the world.

A few great uses you can get out of a department store branded credit card that you can use at any retail store can be special member coupons at Dillard’s, easier bridal registry, and overall more convenience.  The Dillard’s credit card will come in handy for prom dresses this spring and convenient shopping from their online store.  We expect more coupons and discounts to come out of this department store chain as this card is introduced to the market.

The Dillard’s American Express card will be the first product to be offered under the new agreement with American Express and GE Consumer Finance.  There will be more American Express co-brand cards expected to follow.  The new cards will carry the American Express logo and be accepted on the American Express global merchant network.

GE Consumer Finance is a provider of retail credit and loyalty programs, working with retailers to grow their market share and increase customer loyalty through branded private label cards, bankcards, and personal loan solutions.  “Our customers expect the best, which makes the Dillard’s American Express card issued by GE Consumer Finance the perfect choice for our company and our customers,” said Dillard’s CEO William Dillard, II. “Cardmembers will benefit from the creativity, expertise and commitment to premium value from these two outstanding companies.”
