Calling all drinkers! BevRAGE is a cashback app similar to Ibotta, where you scan your receipts for purchases and earn cashback for purchases, but in this case only for alcohol. Also similar to IBotta is that once you reach $20 in earnings, you can receive a payout via PayPal or check. It also reminds us of the TabbedOut app where you get discounts off liquor at certain establishments or on certain brands.
The great thing we have discovered so far with this app is that you can earn cash back off of drinking which can sometimes be pretty expensive. Some of the discounts include $1 off any IPA, $1 off any Mexican beers, and many other great offers.
Free $2
If you sign up via someone’s referral link the person that referred you receives $2.00 for the referral only after that referred person submits their first rebate. In the referral code box you just need to enter DJ as the referral code box will be blank, and not pre-populated. Click here to download the App then enter DJ as the referral code to get the $2 credit: http://www.bevrage.com/promo/DJ
Here are some benefits of using the BevRage App:
1. bevRAGE is paperless and mobile. The days of pulling out a coupon for cash back are behind you.
2. Discovering new brands – Diversify your taste portfolio and allow us to introduce you to great brands.
3. Quick cash back – Rather than waiting months for mail-in rebates, bevRAGE deposits money directly into your PayPal account within 48 hours of submitting the receipt.
4. No balance requirements – Redeem once a day, a week, or a month ‚ there are no minimums or maximums. Use bevRAGE whenever you want and wherever you are.
5. No ads – They won’t plague our users with constant SPAM messages or forcing them to watch videos and take surveys like some shopping apps.
6. Drink or shop anywhere – See a deal you like? Buy at any store, restaurant or bar and they’ll be sure to redeem. Offers vary by state.
The catch for many will be that you cannot use this app in certain states. Rebate valid only to legal residents of Alaska, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Vermont, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming.

American Express is has released new Twitter sync promotions to save money at participating merchants. If you haven’t already, make sure that you sync these offers with your American Express Card, as the number of available uses is limited. Links below allow you to Tweet directly from this post to sync these offers with your American Express card.
The first step is to have an American Express card to get these AMEX Offers such as $35 off a Hilton stay. You can use this bonus link to get 75,000 Hilton HHonors Bonus Points after you spend $1000 in purchases on the Card. This card has no annual fee so you have nothing to lose.
$35 Off at Hampton Inn –
Click Here to Tweet #AmexHamptonHGI to get $35 Credit from a $175+ Spend at a Hampton Inn with your synced Amex card which includes all room charges, incidentals, tax, etc. The transaction must hit your credit card by 3/17/17.
$5 Back on Hilton Gift Card –
Click Here to Tweet #AmexHiltonGC to get $5 back 1x on purchs totaling $75+ on Hilton Gift Cards with a connected AmexCard. Exp 4/30/2017.
$10 Back on Wine! – Click Here to Tweet #AmexWine $10 back 1X on purchs totaling $50+ at Wine.com with an Amex Card! Exp 3/31/17.
Here’s an example of PAST offers below you may have missed out on. Look for these to come back as this Hilton offer did!
My favorite’s of the past include the Hilton Hotels $50 back from AMEX offers but it was only for use at “Hilton” hotels not Embassy Suites and not Hilton Garden Inn even though they are owned by the hotel chain.
Hilton Hotels – Click Here to Tweet #AmexHilton where you can get a $50 statement credit with a $250+ purchase at a Hilton Hotel & Resort with your registered Amex card. If your total bill is at least $250 which can include all room charges, incidentals, tax, etc. you get the $50 credit. This offer is valid only in the US and excludes Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, and US territories. This offer expires April 11, 2016, but may be limited so send out the tweet now to make sure it’s added to your card!
Hilton ran this promotion earlier this year and it was $60 credit for a $300 purchase so we like this one better as it’s easier to meet the minimum requirement. This charge must be on your AMEX card by December 31, 2016. You must 1) complete your stay by the end of the year, or, 2) pay for a pre-paid room where the charge hits your AMEX card immediately after booking. If you have multiple Amex cards synched with multiple twitter accounts and a $500+ bill you can split the bill upon checkout.

It seems maybe the time has come for some consolidation in an oversaturated food delivery market. After pursuing an expansion plan that was highly-ambitious the Texas-based delivery service Favor is closing all of its operations outside of its home state.
Favor delivery service said it would pull out of six cities nationwide, ending all service outside of Texas. Its delivery service remains in 15 Texas cities, including Austin, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio. The cities Favor is exiting are Boston, Denver, Nashville, Charlotte, N.C. and Tempe and Scottsdale, Ariz. The startup, once in 22 U.S. cities and Toronto, say it will focus on becoming profitable.
There are so many players right now it’s hard to know when app to have in which city or restaurant. Some restaurants prefer Door Dash and others may like Postmates. Judging from a poll conducted from a popular rideshare blog they concluded the industry leaders right now for drivers are the following:
- Uber
- Lyft
- Postmates
- Door Dash
- Uber Eats
- Juno
That should tell you right there that Favor is nowhere favored and not really talked about much outside of Texas where they are based. You can bet that Favor will get bought out in the near future from one of the bigger players and we see a lot more consolidation in the rideshare and delivery services.
One thing we really found interesting reading the recent rideshare survey from drivers in this poll above is that Uber Eats ranks so low compared to Postmates and Door Dash even though Uber drivers are already out on the road. You would think Uber would have a monopoly on the delivery category as well but they may have too much to focus on with regulations and such.
