The REAL “No-Hassle” Card

We all think of Capital One when we think of No-Hassle Cards because of their great advertising campaign.  In our review of the Capital One No-Hassle card we found that it is more hassle than the marketing leads on.  In fact, there are so many better cards out there that are so much better.  We also reviewed the Simplicity Card and found that it is not all it is cracked up to be.  All we ask for is for things to be simple and hassle-free so why is that so hard for the credit card issuers to comprehend?

There is one credit card company listening who actually has the best commercials on TV because they are cool like that.  This is no other than American Express.  I am speaking of a card that has no over-limit fees, no balance transfer fees, no cash advance fees, and automatic rewards without having to call some 800 number or signing online to get a Thank You reward sent to your mailbox.

Clear from American Express
  • No fees of any kind: No annual fee, no late fees, no over-limit fees, no balance transfer fees, no cash advance fees.
  • Seriously, No fees.
  • Automatic Rewards. You’ll get an American Express branded shopping card worth $25 delivered straight to your door every time you spend $2,500.
  • Flexible Payment Terms. You can pay in full, or carry a balance. The choice is yours.
  • 0% intro APR for up to 12 months (5.99% fixed APR on balance transfers)
  • World Class Cardmember benefits including Purchase Protection Plan, Buyers Assurance Plan, and Return Protection.

Clear from American Express somehow made it under my radar and I did not notice how many great things this card can do or not do.  The fact there are no fees whatsoever and that the rewards are so easy with the Clear card make this top my all time list of best credit cards.

Ok I am going to repeat some of this but in case you did not hear me I am saying no fine print, no hidden fees, and no complicated redemption hassles to deal with.  Maybe this is really a dream but I love this credit card American Express is offering and recommend that you cut up your Capital One card and get this one.

Think of this as a no-hassle loan since it offers a 0% APR for up to 12 months or think of it as a no-hassle rewards program. A rewards program that is without stress is hard to come by these days since the card issuers make up more and more rules in order to cut costs.
